<p><em>Whether it&#8217;s Luke Skywalker&#8217;s Bantha Milk or a drink served by Oga Garra herself, the food shown in Star Wars movies is nothing if not memorable. Here is a an overview of some of the dining you&#8217;ll find in Galaxy&#8217;s Edge. </em></p>

<p>Galaxy&#8217;s Edge transports you to a whole new galaxy &#8211; and we aren&#8217;t mad about it! </p>

<p>Besides all of the incredible details everywhere you look in Black Spire Outpost, there are dining experiences to match. The menus span from breakfast to dinner and there are no hold-ups to keep you from moving on and exploring more of the mysterious planet of Batuu. Here is a very brief overview of Star Wars: Galaxy&#8217;s Edge dining.</p>

<h3>Book your next magical family adventure through our friends at <a href="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/go/get-away-today">Get Away Today</a>! They are truly the Disney experts and can make planning your trip a breeze for both Disneyland and Disney World. You can <a href="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/go/get-away-today">browse their website</a> or call 1-855-GET-AWAY. <p><a href="http://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/go/get-away-today"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-930 size-full" src="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Discount-Disneyland-Package-6-600x300-1.png" alt="" width="600" height="300" data-sr-force-nopin-value="false" srcset="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Discount-Disneyland-Package-6-600x300-1.png 600w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Discount-Disneyland-Package-6-600x300-1-300x150.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Ronto Roasters</strong></h2>

<p>The first food location you&#8217;ll come across in Black Spire Outpost is Ronto Roasters a counter service restaurant where a droid roasts Ronto on a spit under a Pod Racer jet engine. </p>

<p>The primary food item here is the Ronto Wrap, which includes roasted pork, sausage, peppercorn sauce and slaw on a pita. There is also a breakfast wrap in the morning along with a cup of overnight oats. Ronto also serves jerky and non alcoholic teas.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Oga&#8217;s Cantina</strong></h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" width="768" height="1024" src="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6520-2-768x1024.jpg" alt="ogas cantina" class="wp-image-561" srcset="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6520-2-768x1024.jpg 768w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6520-2-225x300.jpg 225w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6520-2-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6520-2.jpg 1389w" sizes="(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px" /></figure>

<p>Arguably the biggest draw among the Galaxy&#8217;s Edge dining experiences is Oga&#8217;s Cantina. There is very little to munch on here, but there are tons of drinks. The specialty drinks include a wide variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. The Cantina is not equipped to handle large crowds and most of the tables only allow standing. However, there is a lot to look at in this venue and some pretty intricate storytelling in the environment. The bar drinks are pre mixed and come from a tap and thee menu includes four craft beers exclusive to Galaxy&#8217;s Edge and two wines. There are also souvenir Porg and Endor cups, as well as a Rancor Tooth Flight Board for sampling the beer.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Docking Bay 7</strong></h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img decoding="async" width="933" height="1059" src="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6506-copy-1.jpg" alt="docking bay 7 " class="wp-image-558" srcset="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6506-copy-1.jpg 933w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6506-copy-1-264x300.jpg 264w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6506-copy-1-902x1024.jpg 902w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6506-copy-1-768x872.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 933px) 100vw, 933px" /></figure>

<p>Heading the other direction, toward the Millennium Falcon, you will find the primary eating establishment Docking Bay 7. This quick service restaurant has a menu that changes with every meal time. They offer strange looking but familiar tasting plates that range from fried chicken to meatless meatloaf. One of the most popular dishes is the Braised Kaatu Rib which comes with an out of this world blueberry cornbread muffin. You can also get a breakfast platter that includes a baked egg sausages and a mini version of a sweet pastry roll that is filled with chocolate mousse and topped with cookie crumble and raspberry glaze.</p>

<p>Docking Bay 7 also serves an assortment of non alcoholic specialty beverages, and a kids menu with a mix of safe and adventurous entrees.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Kat Saka&#8217;s Kettle</strong></h2>

<p>As you venture deeper into the Marketplace, you will find a kettle corn stall that serves Outpost Mix. This is a delicacy in Batuu and the sweet and spicy combination may take some getting used to. However, after a few bites, it will quickly become a favorite snack.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Milk Stand</strong></h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="768" height="1024" src="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_0953-768x1024.jpg" alt="green milk in galaxy's edge" class="wp-image-560" srcset="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_0953-768x1024.jpg 768w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_0953-225x300.jpg 225w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_0953-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_0953.jpg 1389w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px" /></figure>

<p>As you swing around Oga&#8217;s cantina and head into First Order territory, you will find the Milk Stand where you can try a green, or blue plant based milky beverage. it&#8217;s a refreshing way to finish off your Galaxy&#8217;s Edge dining experience before you leave.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="492" height="1024" src="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-7-492x1024.jpg" alt="galaxy's edge food and drink overview" class="wp-image-562" srcset="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-7-492x1024.jpg 492w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-7-144x300.jpg 144w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-7-768x1600.jpg 768w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-7-737x1536.jpg 737w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-7.jpg 960w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 492px) 100vw, 492px" /></figure>

<p><em>Many of the old secrets are dead and buried, but here are five Hollywood Studios secrets you might not already know about.</em></p>

<p>Disney&#8217;s Hollywood Studios has yet to complete its transition from Disney MGM into a totally different and more immersive park. For the last decade, the 32-year-old park has had a bit of an identity crisis. Many of the old secrets are dead and buried. However, there is still a lot to discover about this unique park even in the internet age. To begin with, Hidden Mickeys are huge at this park. The craze was just picking up when Disney-MGM Studios was being built. So you&#8217;re likely to see mouse ears in a lot of places. Here are five more Hollywood Studios secrets you might not know.</p>

<h3>Book your next magical family adventure through our friends at <a href="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/go/get-away-today">Get Away Today</a>! They are truly the Disney experts and can make planning your trip a breeze for both Disneyland and Disney World. Make sure you tell them Magical Family Travel Guide sent you or use the code MFTG for $10 off a Southern California</h3>
<p><a href="http://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/go/get-away-today"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-930 size-full" src="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Discount-Disneyland-Package-6-600x300-1.png" alt="" width="600" height="300" data-sr-force-nopin-value="false" srcset="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Discount-Disneyland-Package-6-600x300-1.png 600w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Discount-Disneyland-Package-6-600x300-1-300x150.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>The Chinese Theatre Was Built to Exact Scale</strong></h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="768" height="1024" src="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_1005-copy-768x1024.jpg" alt="chinese theater hollywood studios" class="wp-image-595" srcset="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_1005-copy-768x1024.jpg 768w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_1005-copy-225x300.jpg 225w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_1005-copy-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_1005-copy.jpg 1357w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px" /></figure>

<p>In a rare move, Disney Imagineers built the Chinese Theater at Disney&#8217;s Hollywood Studios to exact scale. Typical Disney structures are built to a 5/8 scale. This approach along with forced perspective and other artistic tricks helps give Disney parks their magical feel. However, When they set out to create the Great Movie Ride facade, Imagineers used actual blueprints from the Hollywood original. While other architectural references to real Hollywood structures exist within the park, none of them are built at full scale. That puts the Chinese Theater among the stranger Hollywood Studios secrets most people never notice.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>A Weenie is Not an Icon</strong></h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="768" height="1024" src="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_1009-copy-768x1024.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-597" srcset="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_1009-copy-768x1024.jpg 768w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_1009-copy-225x300.jpg 225w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_1009-copy-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_1009-copy.jpg 1325w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px" /></figure>

<p>True to tradition, Disney&#8217;s Hollywood Studios has a weenie. The term coined by Walt Disney himself refers to a large eye-catching structure that draws people deeper into the park. While weenies exist at the end of nearly every avenue of a Disney park, the main ones become park icons. You instantly recognize Cinderella Castle, Spaceship Earth, and the Tree of Life as theme park icons. </p>

<p>However, The icon for Hollywood Studios has changed from the Earffel Tower (a water tower with mouse ears), The Hollywood Tower Hotel, and the Sorcerer Hat from Fantasia. Why the Chinese Theater has never been considered as the park&#8217;s icon remains a mystery, but it may have to do with its non-Disney origins. Either way, it&#8217;s never talked about, ever. By anyone. It&#8217;s just one more of those Hollywood Studios secrets centered around the mysterious theater.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Each Train on Rockin&#8217; Rollercoaster Plays a Different Aerosmith Song&#8230;</strong></h2>

<p>Or two. There are five trains and the attraction features 8 songs. One of the songs: &#8220;Love in an Elevator&#8221; was rerecorded to play &#8220;Love in a Roller Coaster&#8221; but that&#8217;s not a suggestion. You can get a hint of what song your &#8220;limo&#8221; will play by the license plate if you catch a glimpse of it. 1QKLIMO plays &#8220;Nine Lives&#8221;. UGOBABE plays &#8220;Love in a Roller Coaster&#8221; and &#8220;Walk This Way&#8221;. BUHBYE Has the most tracks: &#8220;Young Lust&#8221;, &#8220;F.I.N.E.&#8221;, and &#8220;Love in a Roller Coaster&#8221;. H8TRFFC (which refers to the dislike of being stuck in traffic, not trafficking hate) will get you either &#8220;Back in the Saddle&#8221; or &#8220;Dude Looks Like a Lady&#8221;. Finally, lucky riders of 2FAST4U will get a live recording of &#8220;Sweet Emotion&#8221;.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Dok Ondar Has the Ark of the Covenant</strong></h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="600" height="1024" src="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6529-copy-600x1024.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-599" srcset="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6529-copy-600x1024.jpg 600w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6529-copy-176x300.jpg 176w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6529-copy-768x1311.jpg 768w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6529-copy-900x1536.jpg 900w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6529-copy.jpg 1085w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></figure>

<p>How The Ark of the Covenant got into this hammerhead&#8217;s hands, in an outer rim spaceport on Galaxy&#8217;s Edge is a story worth telling. Whatever took place in this massive Lucasfilm crossover event has yet to be revealed. It&#8217;s possible that the Ark was simply left there by Imagineers as an Easter Egg (After all, airing the <em>Ten Commandments</em> is a long-held Easter tradition). But considering that Batuu is meant to be a real planet and not a theme park location, it&#8217;s only reasonable to assume that <em>that</em> is the real Ark of the Covenant and <em>Indiana Jones 5</em> just got really interesting&#8230; Whatever the case, this rare antiquity is quite a find in the Black Spire Outpost if you have a sharp enough eye. There are plenty of other Hollywood Studios secrets to discover right within the shops at the Black Spire Outpost.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Echoes From the Past</strong></h2>

<p>There is so much to play with here. Firstly, Echo Lake is a real place. It was a handmade body of water where silent films used to be shot. The irony of shooting silent films in Echo Lake is fun enough, but the Echo Lake in Disney&#8217;s Hollywood Studios has even more fun with the name because the lake itself makes up the left ear of an enormous hidden Mickey you can only see from a bird&#8217;s eye view. Of course, this is no secret. You can see it right on your map. What you may not know is that this area is a special part of the park.</p>

<p>One of the only original sections, it&#8217;s also one of the only places that continue to pay homage to old Hollywood with (shall we say?) echoes from the past. The architecture around this area is all inspired by Hollywood structures, including studio sound stages and some references to film pioneers. The most Legendary is Gertie, the dinosaur on the lake. This ice cream shack is a reference to the earliest known theatrical animation. Gertie was part of a vaudeville act where the animated screen character did tricks and reacted to a live performer.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="492" height="1024" src="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-12-492x1024.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-603" srcset="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-12-492x1024.jpg 492w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-12-144x300.jpg 144w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-12-768x1600.jpg 768w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-12-737x1536.jpg 737w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-12.jpg 960w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 492px) 100vw, 492px" /></figure>

<p><em>There are some budget Galaxy&#8217;s Edge souvenirs you must buy. Here is a look at some of my favorite souvenirs for $20 or less.</em></p>

<p>Make sure you bring your galactic credits (ahem, money) when you visit Star Wars Galaxy&#8217;s Edge. There are plenty of things you will &#8220;have to have&#8221; and lots of them are expensive. </p>

<p>Most items in Batuu feel exclusive to the outer rim planet, yet there are some pieces of traditional apparel like T-shirts and ball caps that would be difficult to convince anybody were local garments. </p>

<p>Among all of the budget-busting items, there are some budget Galaxy&#8217;s Edge souvenirs you must buy. Here is a look at some of my favorite souvenirs for $20 or less.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-misting-fan"><strong>Misting fan</strong></h2>

<p>Nothing beats a misting fan on a hot day at Disneyland. Especially in the desert heat of Batuu. This souvenir is as practical as it is intricate. It has the authentic look of a tool crafted in the Star Wars Universe. </p>

<p>The fan is attached to a stylish bottle that sprays as the fan cools the air. The result is a refreshing break from high temps in the park. The Galaxy&#8217;s Edge misting fan is only $20, which is an especially small price to pay, if you need it in that moment.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-galactic-postcards"><strong>Galactic Postcards</strong></h2>

<p>This 24 count set of galactic postcards is totally awesome! At $19.99, it&#8217;s less than $.84 each postcard. The art on the cards is gorgeous and make an awesome collectible, or actual postcards you can send from the edge of the galaxy. Even frame selections and put them on your wall in sets or individually.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-cantina-coaster"><strong>Cantina Coaster</strong></h2>

<p>If you go to Oga&#8217;s Cantina, you will receive at least one coaster. There are different ones and they are perfect for starting a collection. The design work on the coasters is unique and they make remarkable keepsakes. The best thing about them is that they don&#8217;t cost a thing. Besides the fact that the coasters are free, they commemorate a special moment shared in the Famous Galaxy&#8217;s Edge Cantina. &nbsp; The cantina is a destination unto itself, with remarkable scenery and plenty of new signature libations.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-dice-12-99"><strong>Dice $12.99</strong></h2>

<p>Han&#8217;s Dice to be exact. You can get a replica of the Dice Chewbacca hung on the Millennium Falcon. Han has a long history with the lucky dice and even gave them up at one point before being separated from a loved one. They found their way back to him and after he won the Falcon from Lando, Ha kept the dice up as a symbol of good luck. Now Dok Ondar sells replicas of this charm for only $12.99</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-patches"><strong>Patches</strong></h2>

<p>There is a wide assortment of patches for purchase in Star Wars Galaxy&#8217;s Edge. You will find patches for several elements of Black Spire outpost, including Resistance, First Order, Droids, Millennium Falcon, Batuu, and more. There are even sets of specific patches unified by a theme. </p>

<p>However, you can also buy them individually and collect as many as thou want. The patches look great and they are a souvenir that you can get a lot of personal use from by adding them to a jacket, a bag, or something else. Each patch costs only $9.99 plus tax.</p>

<p><em>For those of you looking forward to visiting Galaxy&#8217;s Edge on your next Disney vacation, here are some quick Galaxy&#8217;s Edge planning tips to get you ready.</em></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="768" height="1024" src="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6509-768x1024.jpg" alt="galaxy's edge" class="wp-image-520" srcset="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6509-768x1024.jpg 768w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6509-225x300.jpg 225w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6509-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_6509.jpg 1389w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px" /></figure>

<p>Great news about Star Wars Galaxy&#8217;s Edge! The new Star Wars themed land at Disneyland is lifting their reservations only restriction on June 24! If you are planning to visit before then, you will have only four hours to take it all in; but after the reservation period ends, you will be free to spend a full day on Batuu. For those of you looking forward to visiting Galaxy&#8217;s Edge, here are some quick Galaxy&#8217;s Edge planning tips to prepare.</p>

<h3>Book your next magical family adventure through our friends at <a href="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/go/get-away-today">Get Away Today</a>! They are truly the Disney experts and can make planning your trip a breeze for both Disneyland and Disney World. <p><a href="http://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/go/get-away-today"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-930 size-full" src="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Discount-Disneyland-Package-6-600x300-1.png" alt="" width="600" height="300" data-sr-force-nopin-value="false" srcset="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Discount-Disneyland-Package-6-600x300-1.png 600w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Discount-Disneyland-Package-6-600x300-1-300x150.png 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Check the Costume Policy</strong></h2>

<p>The first thing you should do in your Galaxy&#8217;s Edge planning is consider what you pack. If you are a serious Star Wars fan, you may have to show some restraint in what you wear in the theme park. While costumes are definitely not permitted, <a href="https://www.wdwinfo.com/news-stories/disney-clarifies-star-wars-galaxys-edge-costume-policy/">there are some exceptions</a>. View the <a href="https://disneyland.disney.go.com/faq/parks/dress/">Disneyland Dress Code</a> guidelines or the Walt Disney World <a href="https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/faq/parks/dress/">costume guidelines</a> to ensure you don&#8217;t get turned away at the gate.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Download Disney Play</strong></h2>

<p>The experience in Galaxy&#8217;s Edge is meant to be immersive in a way that surpasses just the environment. The stage is set for conflict and guests are invited to take their place in the story. The way you do this is by creating a character profile for yourself on the Disney Play app. After you set up your permissions, you will be able to use your device to interact with the park&#8217;s story. You&#8217;ll contribute as Resistance, First Order, or as a scoundrel.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="768" src="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_1013-1024x768.jpg" alt="galaxy's edge at night" class="wp-image-517" srcset="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_1013-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_1013-300x225.jpg 300w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_1013-768x576.jpg 768w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_1013-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_1013-2048x1536.jpg 2048w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Pick a Time of Day</strong></h2>

<p>Time of day is important in your Galaxy&#8217;s Edge planning. Even after the reservation window is lifted, there are different types of experiences to consider. The food and drinks available at Black Spire Outpost change throughout the day. Your Galaxy&#8217;s Edge planning should account for the type of dining experience you want and whether or not you want to build your own lightsaber. Supplies run short, so don&#8217;t put that experience off. Another neat feature of Galaxy&#8217;s Edge is that there is Both a daytime and night time version of Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Budget for Souvenirs and Experiences</strong></h2>

<p>The land is essentially a marketplace. The whole place is filled with shops. Two of them include immersive experiences that have a hefty price tag; but even if you don&#8217;t want to build a lightsaber, or droids, you will come across some tempting high end merchandise. Prepare yourself ahead of time and budget for the extra expense.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="768" src="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_2520-1024x768.jpg" alt="galaxy edge souvenirs" class="wp-image-516" srcset="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_2520-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_2520-300x225.jpg 300w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_2520-768x576.jpg 768w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_2520-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/IMG_2520-2048x1536.jpg 2048w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Pick a Starting Point</strong></h2>

<p>There are multiple entrances to Galaxy&#8217;s Edge that can have an impact on your initial impression of the land. One side is Resistance themed and the other side is First Order themed. Depending on the side you choose on your character profile, I recommend consulting&#8217;s your map to start out on the end that best fits your chosen side before venturing further into the world of Batuu.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Plan Your Time</strong></h2>

<p>Finally, I recommend that you plan your time prior to visiting Galaxy&#8217;s Edge so that you prioritize the experiences you definitely want to have. Allow for some exploration and participation in the interactive games to ensure that you get the full intended experience.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="492" height="1024" src="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-4-492x1024.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-532" srcset="https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-4-492x1024.jpg 492w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-4-144x300.jpg 144w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-4-768x1600.jpg 768w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-4-737x1536.jpg 737w, https://magicalfamilytravelguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Blank-960-x-2000-4.jpg 960w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 492px) 100vw, 492px" /></figure>
